The Cloud Ship was a complex piece of machinery invented by Major Nixel in order to eradicate the Mixel species and bring in the dawn of the Nixels for good.
The bomb inside of the ship was called the Mega Nixel Mixel Nixer.
Description
Ship
The Cloud Ship existed as a metallic cloud. In order for the airship to be powered and float in the sky, a Nixel has to use a treadmill.
The metallic cloud was first seen in Calling All Mixels, but it was used to trap Mixels in a large-sized safe instead using a large vacuum.
In Mixels Rush, it contained the turbine controls for the Nixelstorm. The ship was eventually destroyed for good at the end of the game. The wreck resides in Glorp Corp Land.
A similar vehicle is King Nixel's Airship, which appears to have replaced the Cloud Ship.
Bomb
The Mega Nixel Mixel Nixer was a large black and white striped orb that housed multiple Nixels, which were used as fuel for the bomb.
When the bomb inside it was dropped and put into contact with something, it turned it black and white. In the case of the Mixels, it turned them into zombified versions of themselves that slightly resembled the Nixel species. This bomb also had the power to crack and destroy Cubits.
The bomb's weakness may be Rainbow Cubits, as the Series 1 and 2 leaders destroyed the giant Rainbow Cubit on Mixel Mountain to separate it into smaller cubits, and the resulting energy burst from the Flurr & Teslo Mix negated its effects.
Trivia
- When the bomb was in use, Major Nixel came as close as he had ever been before to conquering Mixel Land.
- It seems that the Nixels are sacrificed in order to nix the Mixels. This shows that Major Nixel does not care about their safety or well-being.
- This machine was the first use of vehicular transportation in the show.
- The Klinkers appear to be inside of it in Mixels: 2016 Wall Calendar. This could be a reference to their part-antagonistic behavior in A Quest for the Lost Mixamajig.
